Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Vascular Surgery assesses, plans, and manages patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Provides coordinated, compassionate care to patients in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop and execute patient care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and preferably previous nursing assistance experience.
Knowledge of wound care, telemetry, and vascular conditions is essential.
Must adhere to confidentiality policies regarding sensitive patient information.
