Job Description
This Clinical Nurse position in the Vascular Surgery unit involves assessing, planning, coordinating, and managing patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, evaluating diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
The role requires collaboration with the care team to develop and follow a Plan of Care and guiding ancillary staff.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with preferred experience as a PCA or nurse assistant.
Knowledge of body systems, wound care, and vascular procedures is essential, with ongoing education encouraged.
Salary ranges from $76,396.32 to $126,730.61 annually, with an hourly range of $36.73 to $60.93.
