Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Vascular Surgery assesses, plans, coordinates, and manages patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Provides compassionate, competent care to patients in inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings, including those with complex co-morbidities such as amputations and vascular wounds.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
Collaborates with the care team to develop and execute individualized care plans, guiding ancillary staff and ensuring professional standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, with preferred prior experience.
The role involves adherence to privacy regulations and a focus on quality improvement in patient care.
