Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Vascular Surgery assesses, plans, and manages patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Provides coordinated, compassionate care to inpatients, outpatients, and community clients.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and interprets diagnostic tests.
Evaluates patient needs, applies sound nursing judgment, and collaborates with the team to develop care plans.
Directs ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Requires graduation from a recognized nursing program, current RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Experience in nursing assistance preferred; ongoing education to improve performance is encouraged.
Works in a fast-paced environment caring for patients with complex vascular conditions, including amputations and wound care.
