The clinical Nurse in the Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit provides compassionate care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, and performs treatments and tests.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to create and update patient care plans.
Directs ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
