The Clinical Nurse in the Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit provides comprehensive patient care, focusing on discharge planning and care transitions.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and documents care in compliance with regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment for care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborates on care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Qualifications include a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS.
Requires 1-3 years of RN experience, including at least one year in Telemetry or ICU.
The role involves ensuring patient safety, quality care, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
