The Clinical Nurse in the Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit provides compassionate patient care, demonstrating kindness and active listening.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents accordingly.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop a Plan of Care.
Guides ancillary personnel and maintains professional standards.
This role may involve handling sensitive information protected by privacy regulations, requiring strict confidentiality and access based on a âneed to knowâ basis.
