Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and document care according to policies and regulations.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assess patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administer medications as ordered and collaborate on patient care plans.
Guide ancillary staff and maintain professional nursing standards.
This role may require handling sensitive information with strict confidentiality, adhering to privacy and security regulations.
