The Registered Professional Nurse in the Secure Unit (C3W) works night shifts in the U.S., with a salary range of $76,396.32 to $126,730.61 and hourly pay from $36.73 to $60.93.
They assess, coordinate, plan, direct, and manage patient care throughout the episode of care, focusing on progress toward discharge and transitions within acute care.
Responsible for delivering and coordinating patient care by the caregiving team, ensuring compassionate, competent care for patients, referring facilities, and staff in inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.
Nurses participating in the Nursing Professional Advancement Pathway (NPAP) must advance from novice to competent in a specialty and may progress to proficient or expert status.
The role involves handling sensitive information, ensuring access is based on a âneed to knowâ basis, and protecting patient data in compliance with applicable laws and standards.
