Job Description

The Clinical Nurse in the Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit provides compassionate patient care, demonstrating kindness and active listening.

  • Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, and performs treatments following regulations.
  • Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment.
  • Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as prescribed.
  • Collaborates with the team to develop and execute patient care plans, guiding ancillary staff and maintaining professional standards.
  • This role may require access to sensitive information, with strict adherence to privacy policies and regulations to protect patient and organizational data.
