Job Description

This RN role in the Colorectal Surgery & Urology unit involves caring for surgical and medical patients in a 22-bed med-surg setting, welcoming new graduates.

  • Assess, plan, coordinate, and manage patient care throughout their stay, ensuring smooth transitions and discharge readiness.
  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, perform treatments, and document care per regulations.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests; assess patient needs and responses.
  • Use sound nursing judgment in patient management and collaborate with the team to develop care plans.
  • Guide ancillary staff and maintain professional standards.

    • Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, and certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC. Continuing education is encouraged.
