Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Elective Orthopedics provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, contributing to a positive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and responds appropriately.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop and follow patient care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Possesses strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
