Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Elective Orthopedics provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment for both primary and emergency situations.
Collaborates with the team to develop and execute individualized care plans, guiding ancillary staff and maintaining professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills.
The role involves handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations and organizational policies.
