Job Description
The Clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating patient conditions through diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment for management decisions.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop and follow a Plan of Care.
Supervises ancillary staff, maintains professional standards, and documents treatments accurately.
Must have a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), a valid NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Requires 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication and organizational skills.
The role involves handling sensitive information per HIPAA and privacy regulations, ensuring proper access and confidentiality.
