Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Elective Orthopedics provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound judgment in patient management.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborates with the team to create care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
