Job Description
The Clinical Nurse III role in Elective Orthopedics (B3W) involves caring for post-surgical orthopedic, trauma, and general medical-surgical patients in a 24-bed private room unit.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, assessing patient needs, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans, guides ancillary staff, and maintains professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
The role may involve handling sensitive patient information, with strict adherence to privacy regulations.
