Job Description
The Clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, contributing to a supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and tests, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment in care decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the team to develop and execute patient care plans, guiding ancillary staff, and maintaining professional standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care. Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are required.
