Job Description
The Clinical Nurse III position is based in the Elective Orthopedics – B3W unit, a 24-bed post-surgical unit specializing in elective orthopedic and total joint surgeries, as well as orthopedic trauma and medical-surgical patients.
Provides compassionate, patient-centered care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating patient conditions.
Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and follow individualized care plans, directs ancillary staff, and ensures professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, valid NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on quality improvement and patient safety.
