Job Description
This Clinical Nurse III position in Elective Orthopedics (B3W) involves caring for post-surgical, trauma, and medical-surgical patients in a 24-bed unit focused on orthopedic and joint surgeries.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, assessing patient needs, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans, guides ancillary staff, and maintains professional standards.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
The role involves ensuring sensitive information is protected per privacy regulations.
