Job Description
This Clinical Nurse III position is based in the Elective Orthopedics B3W unit, a 24-bed post-surgical unit specializing in elective orthopedic and total joint surgeries, caring for post-surgical, trauma, and medical-surgical patients.
The role involves implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, applying sound nursing judgment, collaborating on care plans, and guiding ancillary staff.
Minimum qualifications include a valid NYS RN license, 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for contributing to quality patient care and team success.
