Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the General Surgery/Trauma unit provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound judgment for management decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, valid NYS RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.
Minimum 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication and organizational skills.
Must adhere to privacy policies safeguarding sensitive information and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
