The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.

Performs physician-ordered treatments, administers medications, starts IVs, and documents care according to regulations.

Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.

Evaluates patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.

Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.

Administers medications as prescribed, collaborates on care plans, and guides ancillary staff.

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, a valid RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.

Minimum 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.

Must have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
