Job Description
The Night Emergency Department RN provides compassionate, patient-centered care, following physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting procedures.
Assesses and interprets diagnostic tests, evaluates patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop a Plan of Care.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains nursing standards.
Requires graduation from a recognized nursing program, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
The role involves handling sensitive patient information per HIPAA and privacy regulations.
