Job Description
The Clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department, implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and assessing patient conditions.
They interpret diagnostic tests, evaluate patient responses, and apply sound nursing judgment for care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to create care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
The role involves handling sensitive information following privacy regulations.
