Job Description
The Emergency Department clinical nurse provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with team to develop and execute patient care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Must have a nursing diploma or degree, valid RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.
Requires 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Demonstrates strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills.
Ensures compliance with privacy and confidentiality regulations.
