The Emergency Department RN provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, supporting a caring environment.

Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, and performs treatments and tests, documenting all procedures.

Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.

Assesses patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment for management decisions.

Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, administering medications as prescribed.

Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff, maintaining nursing standards.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from a recognized nursing program, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.

Requires 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Ensures compliance with privacy regulations and protects sensitive information according to policies.
