Job Description
The Emergency Department RN provides compassionate, patient-centered care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment to manage care effectively.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential.
