Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment for both emergency and routine situations.
Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and follow patient care plans while guiding ancillary staff.
Requires graduation from a recognized nursing program, current RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Must have 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication and organizational skills.
Ensures compliance with privacy and confidentiality standards, including HIPAA regulations.
