Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides patient assessment, care coordination, and management throughout the episode of care, focusing on discharge progress and transitions.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders and evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborates on care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing degree, current RN license, and certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC.
Preferably 1-3 years of ED experience, especially in Level 1 Trauma or Stroke Centers.
