Job Description
The Emergency Department RN works night shifts providing compassionate patient care, medication administration, and treatments.
Implements physician orders, performs tests, and documents treatments per regulations.
Assesses patient conditions, interprets diagnostics, and makes sound nursing judgments.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the team to develop and implement care plans, guiding ancillary staff.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or bachelorâs degree, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications.
Requires 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication and organizational skills.
The role involves maintaining patient safety, adhering to privacy laws, and contributing to quality improvement.
