The clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate patient care, demonstrating kindness and active listening.

Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, and documents care per regulations.

Evaluates diagnostic tests and patient responses to care.

Assesses patient needs, applies sound nursing judgment, and provides primary/emergency care for injuries and illnesses.

Collaborates with the team to create a Plan of Care and guides ancillary staff.

Requires a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, and current NYS RN license.

Must maintain BLS and ACLS certifications and have 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.

Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential.

This role may involve handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy laws.
