Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, interprets diagnostic tests, and assesses patient needs.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Directs ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, ADN, or BSN), current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
The role involves maintaining patient safety, quality care, and safeguarding sensitive information in accordance with regulations.
