Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate patient care, implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs, applies sound judgment, and develops care plans collaboratively.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, directing ancillary staff and maintaining professional standards.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Has 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills.
The role involves sensitive information management following HIPAA and privacy regulations.
