The Emergency Department Clinical Nurse provides comprehensive patient care during all phases of treatment, focusing on progress toward discharge and care transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, assessing patient needs, and collaborating on care plans.
Qualifications include a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC, and 1-3 years of ED experience, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
The role requires sound nursing judgment, ongoing education, and knowledge of quality improvement principles.
Compensation ranges from $76,396 to $126,730, with benefits including health/dental/vision coverage, a pension plan, and paid leave.
