Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate patient care, demonstrating kindness and active listening.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as prescribed.
Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff, maintaining professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS/ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential.
