Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Surgery Preop and Recovery Unit, working Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm with minimal weekends and one holiday per year.
Provide care in preop and recovery areas, implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, and document care.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests; assess patient needs and responses; apply sound nursing judgment.
Offer primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, administer medications, and educate patients and families.
Collaborate with the team to create patient care plans and supervise ancillary staff.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS certification, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Minimum one year of experience preferred.
The role involves handling sensitive information, with strict adherence to privacy and security regulations.
