Job Description
Seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Surgery Preop and Recovery Unit, working Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with one holiday per year and few weekends.
Provide patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting appropriately.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests; assess patient needs and responses.
Apply sound nursing judgment, provide emergency and primary care, and participate in patient and family teaching.
Collaborate with the team to develop and follow the Plan of Care, guide ancillary staff, and maintain professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current NYS RN license, BLS certification, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of quality principles and problem-solving tools is preferred.
The role involves handling sensitive information, ensuring confidentiality per policies and regulations.
