Job Description
The Emergency Department Night shift RN provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, contributing to a supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests and assesses patient needs and responses.
Uses sound nursing judgment for care management and provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff, maintaining professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Must comply with confidentiality and privacy regulations, ensuring sensitive information is protected.
