Job Description
The Emergency Department RN provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, contributing to a supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and assessing patient needs.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Directs ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Requires strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills. The role involves working night shifts with a salary range of $76,396.32 – $126,730.61.
