Job Description
This night-shift RN position in Elective Orthopedics involves caring for post-surgical, trauma, and medical patients in a 24-bed unit.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and assessing patient needs.
Provides primary and emergency care, collaborates on care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement knowledge are essential.
The role offers a salary range of $76,396.32 – $126,730.61 and emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care.
