The Clinical Nurse in the Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, and documents as per regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care.
Uses sound nursing judgment for care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to create a patient care plan.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, 1-3 years clinical experience, and strong communication and organizational skills.
The role involves handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy laws.
