The Clinical Nurse in the Vascular Surgery department works night shifts, providing compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and documenting care.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment for care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administers medications, and collaborates on patient care plans.
Leads and guides ancillary staff while maintaining professional standards.
Requires a graduate of a recognized nursing program and a current NYS RN license.
The role involves handling sensitive information with strict confidentiality and adhering to relevant regulations.
