The Clinical Nurse in Vascular Surgery (Night Shift) provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, tests, and documents care according to policies.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as ordered and collaborates on patient care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Minimum qualifications include a diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree in nursing and a current NYS RN license.
The role involves handling sensitive information in accordance with privacy regulations.
