Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Vascular Surgery department works night shifts, providing compassionate patient care.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, and performs treatments and tests according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate) and current NYS RN license.
The role involves handling sensitive information with confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
