Job Description
This ICU nurse role in the Surgical and Neuroscience ICU involves caring for critically ill adult patients with neurological and surgical conditions, including trauma, stroke, and multi-organ failure.
Provide specialized assessments, monitoring, and treatments such as ICP monitoring, ventilator management, and invasive procedures.
Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform tests and treatments following policies and regulations.
Evaluate patient needs and responses, applying sound nursing judgment.
Collaborate with the team to develop individualized care plans and support quality improvement.
Requirements include a nursing degree, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and strong communication skills. Salary range: $72,072 – $74,229.26. This role may involve handling sensitive information per HIPAA and other regulations.
