Job Description
The ICU-Surgical and Neuroscience unit has 30 beds for critically ill adult patients, with a 50/50 split between neuro and surgical cases.
Care includes patients with life-threatening conditions such as trauma, brain injury, stroke, sepsis, and multi-organ failure.
Nurses perform physical assessments, monitor vital signs, manage ventilators, and support procedures like arterial and central line placements, ICP monitoring, and more.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, assessing patient needs, and collaborating on care plans.
Requirements include RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certification, and strong communication and organizational skills.
This role may involve access to sensitive health information, which must be protected per privacy regulations.
