Job Description
This ICU nursing role in the Surgical and Neuroscience unit involves caring for critically ill adult patients (14+), with a 50/50 split between neuro and surgical cases involving complex conditions such as trauma, brain injury, stroke, and sepsis.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing emergency and primary care.
Must possess a valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and relevant nursing education (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate).
The role requires skills in advanced monitoring (ICP, EEG, ventilator management), procedures (line placement, drains, tracheostomy), and collaboration within the nursing team to develop patient care plans.
Work requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with an hourly pay range of $34.65 – $35.69, and an annual salary between $72,072.00 – $74,229.26.
