Job Description
This ICU RN position in the Surgical and Neuroscience ICU involves caring for critically ill adult patients (14+), with a 50/50 split between neuro and surgical cases, in a 30-bed unit.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, assessing patient needs, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing emergency and primary care.
Skills required include ICP monitoring, ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and procedures like arterial line placement, lumbar punctures, and tracheostomy.
Qualifications include a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Salary ranges from $72,072 to $74,229.26, with hourly pay between $34.65 and $35.69.
The role involves maintaining patient safety, quality standards, and secure handling of sensitive information per regulations.
