Job Description
This Pediatric ICU RN position is located in a 19-bed unit caring for critically ill children aged 0-21 with conditions like respiratory illness, trauma, sepsis, neurological disorders, and post-surgical needs.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, assessing patient needs, and collaborating on care plans.
Provides primary and emergency care, guides ancillary staff, and ensures professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, with preferred prior nursing or PCA experience.
Must demonstrate knowledge of quality improvement and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
The role offers a night shift schedule with a salary range of $72,072 – $74,229.
