Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Med/Surg ICU provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow a Plan of Care, guiding ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, a current RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Has 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication and organizational skills.
Maintains confidentiality and adheres to privacy regulations, ensuring information is accessed on a âneed to knowâ basis.
